Accountability Time!

Hi Writers!

I hope you had a wonderful and creative week. At our last meeting, we played a writing game. We each picked a card with famous people written on them, and then without naming names, wrote out a description for the others to guess who. It was actually great fun and we laughed a lot over it!

We also discussed our writing goals of who was going the traditional publishing house route and who was going the indy route. We talked about the benefits of obtaining an agent and how to go about getting one.

We welcome all writers in every stage, whether thinking about writing or already published.  We are supportive and allow each writer to talk about any problems or successes they are having with their latest project.

There is no obligations to become a member or any fees associated with our group. So please join us and have fun talking all things writing for a couple hours on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month.

Feel free to add in the comments if you worked on anything this week. No pressure, just fun.

Accountability Friday

Hi friends,

We had a wonderful meeting on Wednesday evening. It's a pleasure to spend some time with like-minded people for chatting, ideas, readings, and critiques.

We wish a warm welcome to our visitors and hope they come again and share their ideas and inspiration.

Please let us know in the comments what you have worked on this last week, or plan to work on the next week. No judgment, just fun.

Hello Texas Writers!

At our last meetup on Wednesday, August 14th, we welcomed two new members! We also did a writers activity just for fun and to stretch our creativity muscles.

Please join us on our next meeting on Wednesday August 28th, where we will be reading our works in progress and politely critiquing. We meet at the Burleson Public Library at 248 SW Johnson Ave, Burleson TX 76028 from 6pm to 8pm.

Speaking of works in progress, please comment below what are you all working on this week?

Accountability

Every Friday, post where you're at in your writing progress in the comments! If you weren't able to work on anything, write about what you read, learned, etc.
